Our Mascot

Like many performers, Dazz was a little shy when first caught in the spotlight and was initially reluctant to take on the role of mascot. However, once he was fitted with a uniform and introduced to Scouting and the Revue family, he quickly found his confidence.

These days, Dazz has no qualms about appearing in public and eagerly looks forward to every new season — proudly representing the heart, humour, and tradition of the Darling Downs Revue.

Every theatre has its mouse, so we’d like to introduce you to our very own “Theatre Mouse.”

One of the Darling Downs Revue’s most beloved members has been with us since the very first season — Dazzler, or Dazz for short — our Right Honourable Theatre Mouse.

Dazz embodies the spirit of fun, friendship, and fellowship that defines the Revue. His name comes from the original initials of the production: DDASR — Darling Downs Area Scout Revue.
